CHINESE ORCHESTRA TRAINING CAMP (SECONDARY SCHOOL)

We warmly welcome secondary schools students from all zones to participate in our 9th annual training camp.
Date: 10-14 Nov 2008
Time: 9am to 5pm
Venue: Dunman High School, 53 Mount Sinai Road
Reg fee: $50 per student
Closing date: 2 Oct 2008
At the close of the camp, all participants will put up a concert at the Victoria Concert Hall.

2008 EZCO INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC COMPETITION

This is the first time the Centre is collaborating with the Singapore Chinese Instrumental Music Association to put up a bigger Chinese Instrumental Music Competition. Students from schools of the 4 zones are welcome.
Preliminary Rounds: 19-22 Nov 2008
Final: 26 Nov 2008
Registration fee: $40 (Solo participation) / $80 (Group participation)
Closing date: 10 Oct 2008
Prizes:
Top 3 in each category will be awarded the Gold, Silver and Bronze certificate and a trophy. A 'BEST PERFORMER' trophy and certificate of achievement shall be given to one overall best performer.
Group size should be make up of at 5 and not more than 15 person, and can be a combination of the same or different instruments.
